I have just finished reading the third book in the series. Like the first two, this one leaves you wanting more. You become invested with the people and you want to know more about them. I find myself rooting for those that do not believe, hoping they will see the truth before it's too late. I like that Eric is not willing to hurt or kill anyone purposely, or even hate them. I think that is the most important message from this series, his willingness to forgive those that have or want to hurt him, or hate him for his beliefs. It makes you wonder if you could be as forgiving under similar circumstances...I truly pray I could.That's why I like David's books, they are very believable concerning things that could very well happen, or in the cases of his other books about persecuted Christians, things that are already happening in the world. To often we think if it is not happening to us, then it must not be happening anywhere, or the "why should I care" attitude. Christians everywhere need to wake up and realize it very well could start happening to them.

This book and this series is good Christian writing. No vulgarity or sexually explicit writing. The plot is standard to apocalyptic books
I am enjoying this series of books. They have a good message to share and I hope others read this series
An excellent reminder that God is with us in all circumstances - We need only to trust that He prepares the way. Holding steadfast is not easy & real faith with complete trust can not be conjured up.
As much as I enjoyed the first Steadfast Book it didn't really capture me as the COIL Series had. The Steadfast Books have gotten better and better. I look forward to the next installment. In complete truth I still would rather see a new COIL book but Steadfast is a strong second.
If you pick up the Steadfast Series, be sure to start with book 1. It helps to see how everyone progresses or not toward Christ. I’m looking forward to book 4, the last in the series which is good and yet sad to see it end. Enjoy reading them!
Always a fan of D I Telbat. I am particularly enjoying the "Steadfast" series. I keep checking for the next installment. This is a different approach, not the "Left Behind" formula, (which I enjoyed). My two main observations about his writings are... (1) the plot and characters are entertaining and unpredictable and (2) I am always uplifted and challenged by these stories of "Faith" in action.
Throughout his novella trilogy, Telbat has remained true to the facts regarding not only how America can lose its way during a crises, but also how placing your faith in God can render miracles that will overcome every tragedy.
